Our History: I started the office from scratch in the Fall of 2013 as Parker Dentistry. My goal was to create a local dental practice where we do the best work. I wanted to make something I could get excited about coming to each day and go to bed each night knowing we treat people right. We grew that initial team of 3 with 3 dental chairs to five chairs and 6 team members. By expanding technology and advanced services, such as 3D imaging, Implant jaw surgery, TMJ treatment, and full mouth rehabilitation, the practice grew. I added another doctor, Dr. Tyler Hales in the beginning of 2019. We then became Hales Parker Dentistry. I wanted his name up front so he could feel that the office was completely his, the same way I felt about it. He grew his skills and found his passion. He began to focus purely on esthetics and smile design. We grew to 9 chairs, doubled the office space, and added 10 more team members in that time. We expanded our capabilities to provide some of the best esthetics on the West Coast bringing in our ceramist Daniel Yang in 2021. In 2022, we brought on Dr. Luke Facer to help with the patient load with the intention of maintaining the quality of patient care. We then became Facer Hales Parker Dentistry of FHP Dentistry. Our patients had fun things to say about the frequent name changes 😉 As Dr. Facer grew his skills and specialty care on the side of sleep apnea and child airway development, the practice continued to evolve. Dr. Hales, as of 2025, has moved to create his own, veneer-only dedicated office in Newport Beach. Now, as The Dental Collective, we maintain our local ownership and intimate culture and hopefully keep the name long term.
